WHAT IS IT? 

Strength and Conditioning (S&C)  is a very vast type of training, and doesn't just include the work done in a gym.

The basic and main aims for a S&C coach is to improve physical performance, reduce injury risk and focus of movement quality for athletic performance and general life.

WHO IS IT FOR?

S&C training can be for anyone who is trying improve their physical and fitness performance levels. 

Athletes frequently follow the help of a S&C coach when wanted to improve things like their strength, power, speed or endurance etc. In addition to this S&C coaches will also work with individuals returning from sporting injuries or people who are trying to lower the risk of injuring themselves. 

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSONAL TRAINING and S&C?

Personal training sessions consist of a coach prescribing and instructing exercises to achieve goals, which may consist of weight loss, muscle gain etc. 

A S&C session will consist of a coach using specific exercises prescription to improve ones performance in athletic competition, focusining on correct movement patterns, loading and intensity and many more variables.
